Bring the properties you already own
Add an existing building with its units, rents, operating budget and financing information. A property does not need to have been acquired through Dewin to belong in your portfolio.
The neighbourhood view turns your portfolio into a street of buildings. Select a property to see occupancy and operational alerts, then open its record for the details. Unknown rents remain unknown rather than appearing as zero income.
Keep the operating record with the building
Record units and leases, follow monthly rent collections and enter property income and expenses. Recurring entries help keep repeated transactions from being forgotten. Documents and supporting receipts stay attached to the relevant records.
Maintenance, equipment and tasks have their place in each property’s file. Optional invoice scanning proposes information from a photo for review before an expense is recorded.

- Income, expense categories and supporting documents.

Compare actual results with the plan
A budget is useful when it can be compared with what happened. Dewin distinguishes planned expenses from recorded expenses and shows the source of the figures used in the overview.
Track mortgage balances, terms and portfolio debt. A renewal scenario can help you explore a rate change; it cannot predict the rate a lender will offer. Keep loan details current to make the comparison useful.
Work with the right people on the right property
Invite a co-investor to a specific building without opening every other property in your portfolio. They keep their own portfolio while working with you on the shared building.
Dewin is available in English and French. You can export your data and delete your account from settings, including when a subscription is no longer active.
